How to Colonize an Asteroid
"Voltage" is a measure of the charge, or "potential", of a power source or point in a circuit.
"Current", or "Amperage", is a measure of the flow of electricity. Think of electricity as water and the wires are pipes. The bigger around the wire is, the more "gallons per minute", or amps, are flowing. Think of the voltage as the water pressure.
"Resistance" is exactly what it sounds like - a resistance to the flow of electrons. Resistance usually produces heat as a waste product. "Wattage" is a measure of energy dissipated by a component or electrical device.
