Our need for electrical power varies, depending on what we need to do, as does our ability to generate that power. We use batteries to store energy as we produce it, and to draw from when we need the energy to do work. Power supplies control the charge and discharge of our batteries, and they supply clean, regulated power to equipment. We put all of these parts together, and we come up with power systems.
